The following list contains the most successful entrepreneurs of the 20th century, who made success with their business with their commitment and sacrifice. Their nonstop hard work towards their dreams became fruitful with their business which is something every wannabe businessman must learn from them. Here is the list:

1. Bill Gates

Bill Gates – one of the richest in the world, co-founded Microsoft – the largest software company in the world. According to Forbes magazine, his wealth is about $80,000 million.

During his study in a private school in Seattle, which opened the doors to Harvard for him, where he created Microsoft Corporation with his partner Paul Allen.

In 1980 he sold a new operating system to IBM, which has now evolved as Microsoft Windows operating system, which is used today in the 90% of the computers in the world.

Bill Gates and his wife Melinda Gates jointly running a charity organization which mainly invests in health care and education to empower human in underserved areas around the world.

2. Paul Allen

Paul Allen  –  the co-founder of Microsoft along with Bill Gates. This American visionary entrepreneur ignored Microsoft after he was identified with Hodgkin’s disease.

When he returned, Gates took over full control of Microsoft and he was given all the powers. Paul Allen had to look for new avenues. Allen created Vulcan Ventures and joined other companies like Priceline, Dreamworks, GoNet, etc.

3. Steve Jobs

Ever innovative Steve Jobs is considered the most famous entrepreneurs in American history. The very innovative in nature and tireless Steve Jobs who founded the iPhone maker Apple created a before and after in the Computers and Mobile Phone industry.

Today is he is the CEO of Alphabet, a  parent company that controls Google and its sister concern companies.

6. Sergei Brin

Brin was a friend and classmate of Larry Page with whom he co-founded Google. During their full Ph.D. course at Stanford, they created Google, the leading search engine today.

Eventually, it led them to leave their studies to work on Google technology. After 20 years at  Google, today Sergei is the president of Alphabet Inc, the parent company of Google.

7. Mark Zuckerberg

Mark Zuckerberg – founder of Facebook. Zuckerberg faced a lot of problems and legal battles during his initial stage when he started Facebook. Now the billionaire started as a test project during his study at Harvard University. He started Facemash as a tool to chat between university students among their classes, groups, etc. Later on, he converted it into Facebook which is now the leading social media website in the world which has billions of users in its social media platform.

He is now worth around $34,200 million and is considered the youngest billionaire entrepreneur.

8. Walt Disney

Walt Disney  – the most Oscar winner in history. But he had a long, hard way to reach the top.

He had a passion for drawing and comics. Eventually, he got a job in the art studio. He was working for a long time as a drawing artist for many years until Laugh-O-Gram Films, Inc. started to make short movies for children, where he created Alice in Wonderland.

Years later, many producers became interested in his movies for children and contracted him to produce more films.

He met his success with his creation of Mickey Mouse, people started loving the character and it was considered an international goodwill symbol.

As a result, he created Goofy or Donald Duck, the new super hit characters and they enjoy international recognition.

9. Henry Ford

Henry Ford –  founder of Ford Motor Company. With his revolutionary ideas, he created some of the most famous cars in the world.

When he was young, he was working for a steam engine company as an intern, later he joined Edison company as an engineer.

Branson – the Virgin brand creator, runs more than 360 companies under the Virgin Group of companies.

She became an entrepreneur at the age of 16, she published a student magazine called Student. When she was 20, she created a postal record for companies which eventually in few years transformed into a Virgin Records network.

12. Warren Buffett

Buffett is considered one of the 100 most influential people in the world by Time magazine.

During his college times, he tried many part-time businesses but failed miserably.

But today he is considered the most influential investor in the world. Warren Buffet is the founder of Buffett Associated LTD and director of Berkshire Hathaway.
